What are some of the weirder ones? Flagships like the Corvette and Mustang make sense, but then you have things like the Malibu.

The Hyundai Pony had a logo but it never appeared on the car as far as I know, just the psychedelic Pony font .
Kia Stinger (Korea)
Ch evrolet Monte Carlo
There are actually quite a few if you count unique fonts for a model. Most unique b adges came from performance and special trims that became their own models or brands later on.

Pretty much all cars have model specific badges if they have a name. Even mine has one of “Focus” in script.
Logos are different. Sometimes a trim level alone gets a special designation logo badge, other times it’s just some letters from the same letter bin as the model name/number.

What about trim levels? Also why I like Mopar.

the impala has its own specific badge too

I think that's just the Landau badge used on all GM cars of the era that had the factory vinyl roof.

Didn’t most Chevrolets in the 90s have their own badge? I wish more cars did. It’s fun and lighthearted.

T he Kia Forte Koup comes to mind. I don’t think it was offered this way in the US, but I do see quite a few like that

Well now I understand why people are landauing their XTSes, that’s a nic e badge.

Saw a ton of these in Houston. Enough that I wonder if one of the local dealers offers it as a dealer option. Not a fan though, always looks like a Lexus knock off to me.

Not weird, but I love this one:

Yeah, I’m not crazy about the badge either. It just looks like something is missing, like part of the emblem fell off.

It is beautiful. Needs a better car to go with it!

OK, so not exactly the same logo, but still:

Not especially weird, but this in some iteration or another over the years:

I sometimes like to pretend those don’t exist (and yeah I know the badge I posted is from one of those recent POS’s)

That’s a decent coping mechanism.
Man, I’m sure glad Nissan never put a CVT in the Maxima...

Yeah the Maxima is a cool car - especially with a 5-speed:

So glad /// M cars still are naturally aspirated and have hydraulic steering.
